Chapter1 presents Make Beats at Beakerhead Festival
Team members from Chapter1 Daycare presented the Make Beats installation to Rosemont School Kindergarten and Grade 1 students on Tuesday. The children got to experience the elements of sound and rhythm creation by tapping on different buttons, turning dials, sliding levers on two separate sound samplers. The Make Beats allows children to learn to count, understand pitch and tone, and the ability to collaborate to create harmonious rhythm.
Make Beats installation at Beakerhead Fest
The installation will be setup at the specific zone called 4 to 6. As named, the installations are setup between those hours in the evening along Stephen Avenue walk (8th Avenue between 1st Street SW and Centre Street) on Wednesday through Friday this week. This specific installation will be located in front of the Goodlife / Winners store and possibly in front of the ATB branch.
Depending on weather conditions the installation may be temporarily removed from the street location.
